    Hi all, this is my first challenge on MFP and I really need the accountability! My last weigh in about a week ago was 181 so I was disappointed to be up again :( But, my body is holding water right now so I'm expecting the scale to tip in the opposite direction within a week or so. Really grateful to have found this challenge.

    oops, I forgot my fitness event! I have been doing Billy Blanks DVD's but my goal this month is to add bicycling to the mix. My bike has been in the shed for two years and is getting very lonely... looking to do some miles on the weekends.

    I just found this site online. I hope I can find it with my phone too!! I realize we are 5 days in to May, but I would like to join in. In my mid 40's trying to lose 105 pounds (gulp). I am 44 lbs down and would love to lose at least 5 lbs this month!!

    Just for fun: I'm starting week 2 of my C25k app so by end of May I should be in about 5 weeks and running more than walking so we'll see how this goes...believe it or not it is actually fun and not a chore or duty...which is a nice feeling :)

    I usually measure on Sat but will try to keep this going for this month.

    I swim 6 times a week (hour or two depending on mood), play basketball, lift weights. Also been doing some random activities that involve a lot of lifting boxes, helping people, walking, and volunteering at niece's softball practices (pretty intense chasing balls down).

    Just for fun: What fitness event are you going to accomplish this month?

    I signed up at a place that just does power hour kickboxing classes. The entire hour is non-stop heart pumping workouts. It is THE BEST workout. I have been going for the past couple of weeks. My goal is to go at least 3 times per week. My weight loss goal is to lose 5 pounds per month. Last month was 4.8. I got very close. This month I want to see that 5!
