Hey everyone,
I've never gone to a Moroccan restaurant before and everything looks yum! Im not looking for a low calorie suggestion but more like what would you recommend?
I guess I eat fairly high protein and fats and Id be looking at the grain free options (unless its something i HAVE to try)
Just a bit of fun!
Thanks

No grains? But you must have couscous . . .0

I'd eat everything, because Moroccan is just about my favorite type of food in the world.
But tagines often are pretty healthy-- they have lots of yummy stuff and don't necessarily require couscous (though I like putting a few tablespoons of couscous in the leftover tagine broth). It's mostly meat, veggies, and often garbanzo beans and/or olives (but there are hundreds of possible combinations!).
This is making me super hungry. Moroccan food is wonderful.0 -
Thanks I was thinking a tagine or the spiced lamb or monkfish maybe!
Yeah couscous is pretty yummy.. so nice they named it twice.
DOH! Edited to post the actual menu
