I've been using MFP, Digifit and Fitbit to track pretty much EVERYTHING. Loss has been fairly steady, averaging ~2.5 lbs per week, with some minor plateaus. I've done 2 5K's and one 8K, improving my pace every time. Latest 5K was an 8:02 pace, finishing 2nd in my age group. Here are some progress pics, taken on 11/15, 1/15, 3/15 and 5/2.

I knew by the title it was going to be a guy. Great job!!!!!!!!!!!!

Focusing on the numbers has made this effort a lot more achievable. When I was trying 'not' to eat bad stuff, my willpower wasn't strong enough to keep me from falling down. Reducing it to math took the emotional pressure off of making food choices, and actually made it easier to choose good stuff. I'm 13 lbs from my goal.....so I'm looking forward to adding a 5th picture to the series.

Also, my sister pointed out something that I didn't realize until I looked at the series.

Not only are the clothes getting smaller and fitting better.....I'm choosing things that don't 'hide' me as much. The shirts are getting more colorful and less drab/bland as I go.

(I think the next shirt will have to have lights on it to be brighter, though). :glasses:

That is so great! Your sister is right on the shirts AND you are tucking them in! I get that . I haven't tucked a shirt in- in 14 plus years. I will look forward to the day that I can :)

    What an inspiration you are!!!!
