as a sidebar (and not to derail this interesting thread), some food photographers resort to trickery to make food look better in print than it could ever look on your plate:

remember that the next time your effort doesn't match the glossy photo in the cookbook even though you followed the recipe exactly.
e.g., that's not milk, it's glue (below).
Now I know why I can't get my cereal to look right .... tomorrow morning, it's glue all the way!!!0 -

The goal of this isn't to say "don't look for inspiration" the goal is to teach women not to compare themselves to this. The industry takes nearly perfect women and then cut impossible forms out of them. We could work out and loose every pound of fat we have and the fact is we will probably live with some loose skin, our necks won't grow longer, and our calfs wont develop that perfect plastic shine. Reality is beautiful, and pretend is fun. But selling this false reality, for profit, is a crime.
And men too. All you men out there do not need to be comparing yourselves to impossible, photoshopped forms.0 -

They also darkened in area just below the crotch to make he legs look more toned and to fake a "gap between the thighs" look which beyonce's amazing REAL legs don't witness.
Actually, Beyonce does have a small thigh gap. You can really tell in the Superbowl performance because you could see a point of light shining through her thighs when they were together....just sayin', lol, I'm somewhat thigh gap obsessed. I always notice them.0 -
all i know is that when i type in "ifbb bikini pro" into my facebook search box,.....all the chicks are super hot.0

#4 looking at the woman above please note the following: Real women's heads are NEVER bigger than their waist.
A lot of you may have seen this one, yes she is from the side, but at the size that this waist was shopped, the measurment around the crown of her head would be wider than the waist. Not even anorexics can do this.
my head is bigger than my waist from the side....
I'll just add in this post here http://www.chilloutpoint.com/misc/celebrities-before-and-after-photoshop.html
