#9 Measure proportions
If you went to art school you learned the 8 head rule. One of the favorite things for GA's to lengthen are necks, legs, arms, torsos, in that order.
When they mess with these, funny things happen like:
THE BOBBLE HEAD
They make the head bigger to make the body look smaller. (she has been slimmed, but of obvious note is her cleavage, completely drawn in from that angle)
THE PIN HEAD
By thinning the body and shrinking the head they can give a long slender look
THE STICKMAN
I hope those pantyhose come in regular length.0 -

My sister in law does this to her baby all the time - the pics never look like the baby - it is freaky- but my mother-in-law loves the pics so they keep photoshopping the poor thing!0

This one looks so bad it looks like there was a guy standing behind the brunette but his head is completely smudged out from the editing job.

Another stretched neck / odd looking angle of the way the photo of the body was taken versus the head.

In my honest opinion, nothing is beautiful with the finished result. They look like they don't eat and could use a few cheese burgers to add in fuller curves! No one wants a flat chick! Makes me wonder how long it will take for people to start looking like Cassandra off of Doctor Who.0

this is one of my faves! not only did they do all the usual skin tone tricks, but they MOVE her eye on the right.0 -
This was from an article saying this person looks too slim. Uhm, ya think maybe they had something to do with making it look that way?

These are fantastic! Things I would NEVER have noticed! It is also really..motivating? quite a relief?...to know celebs are airbrushed THAT MUCH! I knew they were "fixed" but not necessarily morphed into an unrealistic, unattainable entity.
Very interesting!! I had the same reaction - relief!! I knew I was NEVER getting that perfect bod. Nice to know it is a mirage!! So maybe I can have it with OP's help!!! LOL :happy:0 -
I've been glued to this post.0
