    'bully' = mean to everyone, for their own intrinsic reason(s)
    'hater' = mean to me, because of something something i'm doing

    bullies can all go g#t b#nt.

    haters can keep on keepin on, because i eat hate to fuel my awesomeness. bring it.

    I think if anyone has many people that hate them (H8erz) it's because they suck and are not very likeable.

    Maybe they aren't actually "haters." Maybe you actually deserve scorn for some transgression against them. Maybe you are a jerk just dismissing other people as "haters" to justify your actions.

    Just some other possibilities I'm throwing out there.

    ETA: i am not saying "you" directly to the OP (God forbid I be seen as a "hater), just using it as a general term.

    My band gets haters all the time. It used to get me pissed off at first but then I realized that they are sitting at home typing on the computer and I am out playing to a packed house every weekend..... now, they don't bother me much at all.
