Cardio and weights question

For the past month and a half when I workout, I do cardio first and then weights. Any opinions on doing it this way or should I do weights first and then cardio?

It depends on what type of cardio you are doing.
I do a little warmup of cardio before I weight train (10-15 minutes walking or jogging to get the blood flowing). I lift for about 60 minutes, then on alternating workouts I do HIIT cardio to finish it off for 15 minutes. If I were to do the HIIT first, I would not have enough energy for weights.0 -
Depends on your goals. If you have cardio-based goals, then do the cardio when you are fresh and can give it the most effort. If you have strength or body composition goals, then lift first when you are freshest.0

Thanks for the replies. My goal is of coarse weight loss, but I want to put muscle on also. Generally I do 30 minutes on the bike and then weights for about 30-45 minutes then walk the track for about 15 minutes.0

Always lift first. Doing cardio first can result in poor form and depletes your glycogen making it harder to lift as intensely.0

What is HIIT?0

What is HIIT?
High intensity interval training - I run almost as fast as I can for 1 minute, then walk for 2 minutes and repeat for 5 sets. It functions in your body more like lifting than straight cardio.0
