I completed the Mothers Day Classic 10 km run this morning (in Australia!). It took me 1 hr 7 mins. I am slow but I did not walk once, and more importantly, I loved doing it!!!

It is run across major cities in Australia and raises money for Breast Cancer.

Did anyone else take part?? Love to hear times and success stories.

My goal next year - under an hour!

Well done! And that's a very respectable pace for 10K in my opinion! Happy Mother's Day!

    Congratulations! :)

I did the MDC in Hobart - we didn't have a 10km though, we had the option of 4km or 8km. I did the 8km, my first 8km, in 53 minutes. Hardly a lightning pace, but I've only been running for 5 months and I ran the entire course without stopping, so I'm happy with that.

Wow well done! Thats quite a feat you should be proud of yourself!
I hope you enjoyed it and even better that it raises money for breast cancer, what a lovely thing to do :D
I'm sure you could easily surpass that goal, good luck next year, you can do it! :)

Congrats!!! Great cause, I haven't done it because the first weekend of May I do Relay for Life and I just don't think I could back up with the MDC.. Maybe next year.

Anyway, well done, good time and what a fabulous way to spend Mother's Day.
