    Morning wood...more like morning steel

    I think the best part of a great workout is how you feel the day after. That massive hormone release is addictive. You feel like a million bucks. It's much easier to stay motivated and positive. I haven't met my fitness goal yet so I am still pushing forward. I hope this euphoric feeling continues after you plateau.


    And apparently women have a similar response. My wife becomes an animal after a good strength training session too. Not so much after cardio day, but after a day of slinging dumbbells...look out!

      I guess it's an increase in andgrogens. I'm the same way. At first I attributed it to the idea that women reach their sexual peak in their 30s because I turned 30 last year, but I think the strength training has a lot to do with it.

      I have to share this trivia. My little league coach...my childhood friends' Dad...a top engineer at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base who actually worked on development of the space shuttle...designed the spork for KFC. He didn't invent it, just designed the most popular one on the planet. You'd be surprised at how few times I get to share such a great bit of trivia. The dude also confirmed that they had aliens there. Pretty sporking cool huh?
