I have recently developed a love affair with a group called VNV Nation. Their music has a good beat, the songs are long, and the lyrics are inspiring.

  • I'm a hoopdancer so what I need is a strong beat solid hooping or something flowy for spinning and this last week, I've been loving The Great Gatsby soundtrack. Other good hooping (and sometimes running songs), Cinderella Man -Eminem, Hey Ya -Outkast, Sabotage - Beastie Boys, 9 to 5 - Dolly Parton (this one doesn't fit with the others but is totally my theme song.)

Oooh, Rush! Signals is a great roller-blading album. And Dreamline from Roll the Bones is good for most anything. :)

There is also another option for music instead of Pandora, I use Songza and it's free with no commercials. I've been using it for awhile now
