Hurt my knee during 30 Day Shred

The day I started Level 2 I tried the squat thrusts and the first time I did it, my knee popped and really hurt so I did the modified version from then on. My knee still hurts (both do really, but my right more than my left), but I can walk and bend down without it hurting. It's only when I walk upstairs or have to twist to the left or right that it hurts.
It doesn't look swollen (I have big chubby knees anyway, so can't really tell LOL) & they aren't stiff. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had an injury like this? I don't think it's serious enough to go to the doctor, but I might get a knee brace for the right one that is hurting more. I'm going to take a few days off from the Shred and just do something simpler like rebounding, which doesn't hurt.

Id say you are right to take a break and do get it checked out if its not ok within a week!0

I hurt my right knee doing the 30DS. I was doing jumping jacks and must have not landed straight and twisted it. It took a long time to stop hurting so I would modify exercises so as not to strain it. I kept running which I know didn't help. When I do 30DS I don't do the jumping jacks now ~ I just do the arm motions and run in place because I'm paranoid. Of course, I have nothing against the 30DS, I love it actually. I just am not the most coordinated person! LOL. Icing your knee(s) on a regular basis will help, too.0

I had the exact same problem with my right knee. I did the 30DS from mid March-mid April. My knee still hurts in the exact same way you described. Grrrr!!!0

You do need to take a proper break and also see a doctor if the pain doesn't go away within a couple of weeks. I made that mistake and my knee was damaged badly and took years to heal. It's a complex joint and injuries to it can be really serious. Take it easy! And use ibuprofen if possible for the swelling in the meantime.0

Thanks to everyone! So doing exercises that don't hurt my knee are okay? Because most don't. I don't want to hurt it more, but I don't want to stop exercising if I don't have to.0
