fitbit...

I have the fitbit one. and it is very easy to hide .... and like someone else mentioned to loose as well. I am on my second fitbit and I feel that is well worth the money. I contemplated getting the flex but I like being able to see my stats on the display and that it sends me little flirty messages. Could not get that with the flex.0

I have the FitBit One, love it! I clip it on my belt or on/inside my waistband if wearing shorts with no belt loops. I choose it over Flex because I want to be able to check my status whenever/wherever directly on its screen.0

I have a One and I say this every time it comes up (really the ought to give me a refund since I pitch it so much), but the pros of the one are worth it to me.
Pros:
1)I can hide it. If I ever had a formal event or work banquet I wouldn't be sitting there in a dress with what looks like a rubber bracelet on my wrist- and I could still get data for the day by hiding it in my bra.
2)It has a readable display.
3)The timer function is awesome if you want to get data of walk based work outs. Sort of like a trip odometer.
4) Stairs/inclines.
Cons:
1)Sometimes people lose it.
2)Sometimes it can be accidently washed.
3)Occasionally it can be forgotten.
4)On windy days you get credit for more stairs than you climbed. Today I got credit for 12 floors- I know that I did two.
I've had mine for almost two months and forgot it 1 day- and it was unreal how much I missed having it!
If I was in charge over at Fitbit, I'd just design a wearable wrist band for the one and it would be a setting like the alarm- you could tell it dominant wrist, non-dominate wrist or torso and it calibrate itself accordingly. That would be awesome.0 -
I have a pink Zip, wear it on my pants everyday and have yet to have someone ask me about it!0

wow, thanks for all of the feedback...
the one seems to be where i am leaning, in basic black... i need to save some pennies first.
i'll prob. clip it to the inside of my pocket or maybe the inside of my bra, if you really can't see the thing thru clothing.
i feel self-conscious because i am a server at a restaurant, and people LOOK at you. they notice things, and look for things to strike up a conversation, like jewelry or a new haircut, etc., and i just don't want to have this be a topic of conversation. its important that no one sees it
the fact is that i most likely really don't NEED it for maintaining/achieving success in this regard, but i am so curious as to what info it will give me. like i said, for me and many others $100 is a lot to spend on a trinket like this. but i want one anyway
thanks again!0 -
I own the FitBit ONE and I chose it because I could conceal it.
It's small
It has a readout on it.
Love it!
It was so worth the $ for the motivation :-)
I like the LeaderBoard online feature, very fun!0 -
I just got a Jawbone Up (black one) for Mothers Day. So far I love it. The sleep tracker is way cool.
I love my UP also. Just looks like your wearing a rubber bracelet. No one thinks anything, and you forget your wearing it. Either the Flex or UP gives you an excellent idea of your TDEE, because you wear them 24/70 -
Anyone have a fitbit one who is a road warrior? I drive a LOT, and lots of short trips, getting in and our of the car (I am a sales rep). I've heard it can get inaccurate while driving.
Thanks!0 -

My Fitbit One rarely logs any steps when I'm driving.0 -

OK, great! Thanks for the feedback0 -
I clip my One on my bra, inside a cup. No one EVER sees it.0

I have heard very few good things about Flex. Just a warning0

This. I was super excited about Flex and was stalking Amazon to read reviews and was really disappointed to see that so many people said they'd be going back to The One because of issues with Flex.
I'll have to check out those reviews. I haven't had any issues with my flex. Hmmmmm. I like it, but it's my first Fitbit.
(@OP) It's just a bracelet. Sheesh. It's an activity tracker, not just a calorie counter. They'll think you're bad *kitten* for keeping track of your activity and probably get one themselves.0 -
I have the ultra and it's great. But I don't think they make it anymore.0

Same here, but there is a phone app called DriveBit that syncs with your FitBit. You start the app when you are driving and stop the app when you arrive. It syncs with the FitBit to tell it to disregard any "steps" during that time frame.0 -
I have the ultra and love it. Clips to my bra, and is so small no one knows I have it on.0

I have been hesitant on ordering a fit it because of the $$$$. Reading these posts I have decided to order one today. Thanks for all the info0

Putting my vote in for the FitBit One as well!0

I should mention too that I contemplated the One and the Flex but ultimately decided on the One. I want to wear it all the time, and I thought with the Flex, if I'm all dressed up to go out, I didn't want to be wearing a "sports bracelet" that might clash with what I have on. Just my $0.02. Hope that helps.0

I have the flex, yes people do see it, but think its just a rubber bracelet. I have yet had someone say oh you have a fitbit flex. if they do so what. not sure why you have to hide the fact. but people that have the fitbit one seem to lose thiers alot or throw it in the wash, mines always on my wrist unless im charging it.
This^^^
I forget i have it on sometimes.
^^ Yep! I love my flex and wear it all the time. Just looks like a rubber bracelet. I haven't had any other activity trackers to compare it to, but I think this one is great.I thought with the Flex, if I'm all dressed up to go out, I didn't want to be wearing a "sports bracelet" that might clash with what I have on. ^^ I thought about this as well, but with my lifestyle, I don't get dressed up all fancy schmancy very often. When I do, I'll just go without it for that time period. It was worth the security and ease of the bracelet to risk a night or two without it every few months. Good point to make though, jody664!! This would be something to consider if dressing up often.0 -

Mayra....I love you more and more very day. Bad *kitten* indeed.0 -
Jerrielynn,
I have the one and I LOVE it. I wear it ALL the time.0 -
I have the FB One!, I wear it on my track pants, in my jeans pocket, On my bra, In my mp3 arm band..even on my sock.
Its awesome so discreet, and easy to use0 -
Like many of you I wear my Fitbit ultra clipped to my bra ...BUT NOT AT THE GYM. I did that once and the sweat drowned my Fitbit.
They were wonderful and replaced it free of charge but I now wear mine in the clip that is intended for use when monitoring sleep and attach it to the outside of my waistband when I am exercising hard.0 -
