what size were you at 140 pounds

I am currently 164 pounds. I wear a medium on top and on the bottom a size 14 in jeans. I set my goal weight to 140 pounds. I am 5"4 inches tall and big boned, large frame and broad shoulders. would like to know other ladies my height and build who are at or around 140 pounds what size they are?
I am curently 153lbs. I wear a large on top and a 8 on the bottom. My MFP goal is 140lbs. I am 5'4". Not sure what sz I will be @ 140 (maybe sz 6).0 -
Sizes have changed radically in the last 25 years or so. When I was in high school and weighed 140 I was a size 14/16. 10 years ago I was 140 and a size 10. I have a pear shape and pretty big hips even at 110 lbs. (110 lbs was a size 6, 20 years ago. Couldn't go lower than a 6 without rearranging my bones, but I tried!) I am 5 feet tall.0

Just to show how much fluctuation there is: I am 5'5", but significantly heavier than you. I weighed 190 lbs as of this morning and wear a size 12-14 jeans (which I also wore at 200 lbs, though less comfortably!) I have several pairs in both sizes from different run-of-the-mill stores, like Target and Shopko and Old Navy. Tops are L-XL-XXL depending. SO much variety in builds and sizes, it might be difficult to guess where you may be when you hit 140, until you actually get there.
ETA: The last time I was close to 140 (I was never closer than 160 in high school) I wore an 11, so sizes are very different now!)0 -
thanks ths gives me an idea what to aim for. I went from a pear shape when I began now to an hour glass
I went from 250 to 164 pounds currently from eating right and working out. a lot of hard work and determination. my goal size is a size 9/10 is what I am aiming for the lowest size for me would be a size 4/6.0 -

I am 5'3" medium frame, although I do not carry weight very well. When I started my weight loss I weighed 165 and took a size 14 in pants and a large in tops. I am currently 134lbs and still have a ways to go. I still have my fat tummy. It will definitely be the last to go away. When I weighed 140 I took a size 10 pants. I am just now getting into some size 8's and a medium in tops. I am thinking 120-125 or so for me.0

I am 5'6 i don't weigh as little as you and it's weird because I weigh 216 and can fit into 12/14's while i know people that are around 190 that wear the same size as me.0

5'9", and a size 4 (pants/jeans--or a 2 in the brands that partake in vanity sizing
), and maybe a 6 in tops.
I have quite a bit of muscle.

I'm 5'4", currently 175 lbs and wear a 10 in jeans from the Gap though I have lots of pants that are 14s and some 12s too! I wear a large top (though I'm almost in the medium!). When i was 140 I was in size 6/8, I think. I'm an hourglass, 41" chest, 32" waist and 42.5" hips. It all really depends on how you carry your weight...0

Currently 144 5'5" and a size 8. But my hips will never ever be smaller than 40 inches! That's BONE.0

I am 5'4", I weigh 140 right now and I wear a medium in tops, a 4-6-8 in pants depending on brand... Small in workout pants/shorts and pajamas, etc
EDIT: I am not sure what shape I am, I just recently found out I was measuring in the wrong places for determining my shape, but I am 34-30-37.5 although my lower tummy is like 35"0 -

At 5.3'' for me, 140 means a size 4-6 in pants/skirts and a small/medium in tops.0

I am 5'4" and reached my goal weight of 140 pounds several months ago and fit into a 8/10 on top and a 12/10 below. Then I started to work on strength and gained about 4 pounds. I still fit into the same sizes, but the clothes fit looser in the thighs and waist.
My hips are big and bony - (child bearing hips!), so reducing body fat will never get me into smaller pants - even if I was reduced to a skeleton, they would have to bury me in size 10 jeans. That is why I am concentrating on getting more muscle in my upper body so that I look more balanced.0 -
I'm 5'6, medium frame. I wore mostly size 8 at 140. Of course some times I could go tighter and wear a 6, but most times I had a muffin top or just felt uncomfortable.0

I'm barely over 5'4" and am almost to 140 lbs. Currently I fit into a size 7/8... I'm hope the last few lbs will put me into the 5/6 range... but it may not.0

I'm a UK 12/US 8 at 150lb, so I'm guessing UK 10-12/US 6-8 by 140? Not sure. I'm lifting heavy whilst I lose weight so it's mostly fat coming off.0
