really considering p90x

I'm considering buying p90x. I workout 6 days a week and my workouts vary. I'm wanting to start something new. I'v heard all the hype about p90x so I decided to do some research and check reviews. For the most part everyone has had success with it, but most everyone says it's super hard & time consuming. I'm curious...is it really that hard? The price is another issue..it's pretty expensive. I'd love feedback if you've tried it and have had success with this system.

I am on day 76 and have great success. I have lost 30 pounds since day 1. I have two weeks to go then I am starting Insanity. Check out my profile pictures that will show Day 1, Day 27, and Day 57 photos. If you have any questions let me know. Message me or add me as a friend. I enjoy helping others out.

I think if you are already exercising that often you will be ok. It might be difficult but it's not impossible.

It is time consuming but if you will stick with it you will see results. Tony talks too much sometimes so I fast forward through some of it but I've been doing it for a while.

I skip the yoga b/c that is just too ridiculously long for me and I don't have the patience.
  • Thanks, you look great! My goal is to work on getting more toned this summer. My daughter's roommate owns the system..and I might be able to borrow his. so I will update with results.

As long as you eat healthy and keep pressing play you will see results. I am very happy with my results so far. In my first 60 days I had the results I was not expecting until day 90. It may be hard for you the first 10 to 14 days but if you stick to it and keep pressing play it will get easier.

You are welcome to join my group on my fitness pal if you decide to start p90X. We post our workouts daily and offer each other accountability and support/motivation.

If you are interested let me know and I will add you to the group.

I've heard it was hard, but that's a good thing. Nothing worthwhile comes easy, especially when you're after a ripped and toned body. I have a copy on my computer and do parts of it, such as the ab workout. If I wasn't working out at the gym with dedicated partners I would be doing it full time. Good luck with what you choose! Keep in mind too that P90x requires some equipment whereas Insanity doesn't.
