The word continue is a big one. Many have a great start, but they fail to continue.
They lose their momentum. The come to a slow stop and then they began to roll backwards. Out of control…
Friends, we must continue…I guarantee you there are more people on MFP that have started and failed to continue, than there are those who are continually logging in. FRIENDS, you may have a bad day, or bad week or maybe even a bad month, but the key is to CONTINUE.

I would love to be friends with someone who has continued for more than 100 straight days, you are my kind of fitness junkie!

I'll be in touch in about 55 days! You are right on about CONTINUE! So many of my friends who go over on their diary always get right back on, and don't look back! I am so proud of ALL my friends, and I know they feel that to CONTINUE is the only option for them! :drinker:  :drinker:

your posts are very motivational! its very true that many, if not most people give up and fail to continue to reach their goals of getting into shape or even just trying to eat healthy.

I've hit 2 plateaus so far and have made it passed both of them because i did exactly what your post here is about - "continue".

hope everyone sticks to the plan and continues on to their weight loss journey!

Oh how true that is. I have been overweight my entire adult life and have attempted to lose weight more than once, but as soon as I get to my "comfortable overweight", I tend to slack off. I am determined to stick with it this time and luckily I have very supportive friends. I have made my whole journey public, on MFP, Facebook and Twitter to help keep myself accountable.

Also, I recently made the decision to give away ALL my clothes. One more full size down and I am back to my "comfortable overweight" and into the size that is the majority of my wardrobe. So, I literally just gave everything away. I figure that will keep me going towards my goal weight because I will be looking forward to finally getting a new wardrobe, but until then I'm only allowing myself up to 5 outfits in each size until I get down to my goal weight, which is a LONG ways off.

Right now I'm only into about day 43 of MFP although for some reason it keeps saying 30 days, even though I have logged in EVERY day.

agreed!!!! I actually would have about 200 days but I went on a three day vacation and went hiking and couldn't get a connection on my phone to log in =( and if you count before they started the log in stuff I would have over 365 =) My motto is be accountable no matter how bad it hurts!

Tiffany, from what other members have shared, when you go on vaca you can shut off your log count so it doesn't start you over when you get back. I haven't done it myself but others that have suggest you merely go into the feed settings and shut the feature off until you return. :)
