chocolate milk is good, regardless of it's intent0

Low-fat chocolate milk, used post-workout, can provide the little bit of sugars, good source of protein, and a small amount of fat can aid in post-workout recovery. Similar thought as a protein shake.0

carbs and protein after exercise...blah blah. Ideal ratio of blah blah.
...and other stuff that assumes people don't eat around exercise time...0 -
Don't know the health benefits..

Well what I heard on another thread {search chocolate milk post workout} was that it helps with preventing DOMS. That's good enough for me. I need .25 reasons for being convinced to drink chocolate milk. Actually maybe .1, really.0

True. And then there's the fact that it's beer.0 -
If you need a better answer than "it's milk and chocolate combined, so how exactly can it be bad?" which is my carefully considered position, look here:

I prefer to back up the bottle of Nesquik on my desk with SCIENCE thank you. Cause otherwise drinking chocolate milk after a run would be indulgent or something.0 -

If you could choose just one food to live on, milk is the perfect food balance of carbs, protein amino acids. You could survive on milk.0 -

I find milk contributes greatly to my daily protein intake. I am not a chocolate milk drinker, but if I am short on calories, I enjoy an iced coffee milk. I still haven't found a protein shake I enjoy yet.0
