2 years in - my slow and steady progress

So I recently passed my 2 year anniversary of being on a weight loss "journey" (I hate that word in the weight loss context). I am not within my HWR range yet, but I am getting there.

I have lost 64lb, and around 8-10 dress sizes. I don't restrict my calorie intake too much, and I definitely have slip up days.

I just wanted to post my progress pictures to keep myself motivated to lose the last 11lb

Thanks for reading :-) Any (not too mean) comments appreciated

You're doing great! My "journey" has been been a slow one as well. Just tell yourself that this way the weight will be gone for good! Good luck to you! :)

Haha, yep Im a kiwi girl - no lbs over here! I try to use imperial terms on this site whenever possible, but I like my kgs on my ticker!

    I do exercise:
    Tuesday 1 hour BodyCombat
    Wednesday 1 hour BodyJam
Friday 25 mins HIIT on treadmill, then 35 mins of a toning/cardio circuit devised by the gym trainer
    Sunday, same as Friday

I also run round after a 2.5 year old, and work full time!

Slow and steady wins the race as some people like to say. You're looking great! And you probably feel like a different person too! Keep it up! You'll get those last few pounds off!
  • Well done! I just recently passed my two year mark and have lost almost 50 lbs. And it hasn't been easy!! But I do think that going at a slower pace has helped me to keep it off. Sounds like you're nearly at your goal weight. Way to go!

You look fantastic - and you are sending the right message, slow and steady with small changes in eating habits, good amount of exercise and being happy!
I'm in the Far North so nice to see a Kiwi face (and I use kgs too!!)

You look great and I think doing it slow and eating the way you plan on for the rest of your life is the way to go.. I could eat clean and lose it fast but I can't give all my yummys...

    Keep it up!
