I'm a member of the 5'2" club also.
I'm at 150lbs as of this morning and started at 161 exactly a month ago. So I'm really stoked! Could really use the short gal motivation cause I'd LOVE to get to 125, but would be happy at 135. So feel free to add me0 -
Hi everyone - I am 5 ft 2.5 inches and currently my weight was at 137 at last check. I have been anywhere from 190's to 100's in my adult life. My current goal is to continue working on my fitness and exercise til it becomes second nature - I would like to get rid of about 12-20 more lbs depending

I am 5 2" as well, currently 142, lost 7 lbs in the last 3 weeks - slow and steady, target 120.
I just had my gym program changed and the instructor did tell me that weights help you burn calories over an extended period of time, especially combined with core (planks, bridges etc)., so thats what I will be doing from now on, combined with cardio...............

I am new here.
I am 5'1, weighed in at 147.5 on Day One.
Today is Day Three.
Doing boot camp with a trainer and got on a healthy eating meal plan.
Goal weight is 130.
I weighed 133 on my wedding day May 28th 2011. I have since gained 15# that I need to get rid of.
Being this short, 5-15 extra pounds really makes a difference. It all goes to my mid section.0 -
I'm 5'2" and was always around 115-122 without a lot of trouble until I had kids! Lost back down after my first, but I have had a time losing it all after my daughter 20 months ago! I was at 152 last spring and lost down to 140 in about a month. I kept most of it off, but got back up to 145 after Christmas. I am now at 134 and would like to just get to 125. I would really love to be 115 again, but the 120's will do for sure! I'm not really big...most of my weight is boobs! I wear a 4 with room in right now! I eat pretty clean and run at least 3 miles 6 days a week! Fee free to add me!0

Hi! I'm 5'2", 31, 196lbs. Today is my first day here (after many years of failed diets and general laziness) so I don't really know what I'm doing, but I'm hoping it works for us all! Right now I'm just exercising at home using videos but I want to start running too. Short term goal is 165, with 135 being the long term. After 3 babies, I'd be perfectly happy with that.0

This is just what I need! I am 5'3 and my current weight is 135lbs I really just feel awful and miss my athletic body! My goal is to reach 125lbs by my vacation in August and keep it off and ultimately get to 118lbs by my wedding in fall! Hi!!! I am 5' 3/4" (gotta put in that 3/4" so I seem taller haha) and pear shaped. I am struggling to tone up my butt and thighs. I gained 40 pounds when pregnant (weighed 152 total), then was able to go down to 138 pounds on my own, and then was able to continue to go down to 125 pounds on my own over the past year. After being stuck at 125 pounds for months, I just joined My Fitness Pal about a month ago. I am now down to 119 pounds with a lot of hard work and healthier eating habits! My goal weight is 110 which would be the weight I was in college 10 years ago. But my main reason for joining My Fitness Pal is the exercise aspect. I am happy with my body per say, except for the pesky pear shape. I am sick of my legs being so loose and cellulite stricken, and I'm only 32. I know it's my own fault. I haven't exercised since I got out of college 10 years ago. I was "blessed" with always being thin and having come from a thin family, so it truly never occurred to me that I would start gaining weight as I become older. Even with my weight loss, the cellulite is still showing a lot (although my husband swears it is much, much better). It's such a tough journey and I feel for each and every one of you. Hopefully we all can coach and cheer each other on. Since I am short, any amount of weight I put on is very noticeable to me (and of course it always goes to my butt and thighs.) I'm 5'1" so that is close enough right? I started out at 143 and now (after forever) I'm down to 121! whoop whoop! I feel like every short girl trying to lose weight needs another short girl to relate to!0
