I just made my own variation of this:
1/2 cup oatmeal
1 banana
1 egg (whole)
1/2 cup cottage cheese.
1/2 tsp cinnamon
(i used a little olive oil to cook them but I don't know if it's needed) They stick if the pan is too hot.
it makes 3 servings of 2 5-6" pancakes. (I had 2 servings because I am hungry today)
2 pancakes has 201 Calories, 9g protein, 3g fiber.0 -

These are well nice, I only used one egg, and although they arn't as easy to flip as pancakes, you can get them to "peel" just roll them over from each side to form a "pencil" OKay one sides not been on the pan, but they are cooked, and sweet and nice.0

cool recipe - but I totally get bummed when people call these kind of things "pancakes" when they should be calling it an "omelette"....but I understand that this may not be as appetizing (lol - banana omelette)!!0

Hi all!!
I've just tried this recipe:
1 banana
1 egg
nob of marge for the pan
and although it tasted great, the pancake struggled to hold its shape. I'm not sure whether i did the batch too large (one large pancake rather than a few little ones) but does anyone have any suggestions? xx0 -

Some people (me) Can't actually have pancakes (gluten) so i think its a great way to have them without buying expensive prepacked bland gluten free pancake mixes.0 -
