Calorie Question!

Friends, I'm trying to understand how this calorie intake works, My question is:
1. If I have 1.720 calories I can have a day and I burn 700 doing exercise and receive the 700 back in my total for the day, Should I or Shouldn't I intake 2.420 calories for that day.
What I have been doing is just eating my 1,720 a day because I'm just not that hungry. PLEASE HELP!
Thank you all so much!
Sincerely,
Mark, US Navy Retired (2001)

Eat back your exercise calories.
Netting around 1,000 calories a day is far from enough.0 -
I'm confused??? So I should only eat 1,000 calories a day? not my 1,720?Eat back your exercise calories.

If I'm not hungry, I don't eat my exercise calories back.
The reason people say not to eat below 1200 calories is because you cant get enough essential nutrients at that level. NETTING below that, is completely different because you've still eaten enough to get your nutrients.
Because calories burned estimates are really poor, I go by hunger to decide if I should eat a bit more if I work out. It's a bit of a balancing act.
If you find you start getting hungry or if you have an urge to binge, eat some of them back.0 -

eat back your exercise calories, going that low in calories are for short small framed people or realy old people who dont exercise. if it gives you 700 calories back eat it because your still going to be in deficit0

She is saying to eat the 1,720 plus the 700 calories. I would eat the 1,720 plus about 50 - 75% of the 700 however to leave some 'wiggle room' for estimation errors however.0 -
Ok, I'm actually eating around 1,500 avg per day, not counting my exercise calories that I'm burning. I'm not really hungry and don't get the "BENGE" feeling of needing to eat. I was getting conflicting replies telling me to 1, eat the calories back, 2, don't eat the calories back, 3. only eat half the clories back....and I was really confused....Thank you so much!I'm confused??? sorry bro, but we all didnt gain weight by eating 1500 calories and not "feeling hungry". its easy to add calories, extra bit of cheese, few more chips, extra slice of BACON!!!
or just eat that damn chocolate bar, that is the devil on these forums and will KILL you if you eat it.
consuming chocolate with rabbit food causes a rift in the space-time continuum in ones stomach that lets "dark matter" through, this dark matter is actually FAT from an alien species that discovered how to eat anything they want, and not gain weight. this fat then seeps though said rift, into your body and instantly makes you gain your bodyweight in FAT, swiftly sending you into a fat overload coma and sweet sweet death.....0
