Hi, I am new to mfp. I have actually been on for about a little while, just gettting around to introducing myself. I am loving this site!!! Everything I have been looking for. I am excited about the days ahead. I workout a lot so I am no stranger to the gym, but this is my first time calorie counting. I quit smoking about 5 mths ago and I am desperate to work off those extra pounds I gained!

    this is a great site. If you stay consistent with tracking your food in the food diary and tracking exercise, You will succeed . Just stick with it and dont give up. There is alot of motivation and encouragement on this site also. You can do it

    Congratulations on quitting smoking!!! I still have that nasty habit! I am also pretty new to the website and getting my feet wet. Good luck! This is a totally different perspective for me (counting calories) and it really helps keep you honest, if you log everything. Tends to make you make smarter choices. Best wishes!
