I need a few more ladies on my list with the same goals! I am 5'5 and about 118 lbs, I am eating 1800 cals on rest days and eating about 2000 on lift days. I am trying to get 1 gram of protein per lb of body weight (I am very new to this, only about a month in).
I am just looking for some girl friends on my list who are lifting so your foods, workouts and pics keep me motivated!
I hope I get a reply, I really need a few more of you hardcore ladies on my list
Thanks, Lisa

I'm your height and quite near your weight. I started lifting 11 weeks ago and due to finish Simply Shredded next week so will be checking my measurements then. Currently on 1500 cals/day to lose a few pounds before my holiday but would normally be eating similar to you to maintain. I'm hoping to start Stronglifts in June.0

Hi! I'm not close to your height or weight, but one thing we have in common is the lifting. I'm currently in my second round of Stronglifts (3 x a week) and eat close to your calorie goal (just a little less). Feel free to add me.0

I'm 5'8" and have about 40ish more lbs to lose, but I love to lift. I also like to eat (no hangry here).
Feel free to add me if you like.0 -
Feel free to add me.

Hi
Feel free to add me if you want, I love lifting!
5'8, looking to lose around 10lbs. I eat around 2500 a day regardless of whether I'm training that day or not and train 4x a week.0 -
So for the ladies that have been lifting for a while- what works? What doesn't?
I'm guess I have a lot of 'bro-vice' of guys who lift but I guess I think that female set up is different from male set up... and maybe I don't need to do as much weight as possible every time and eat more protein then I weigh.
There is a lot of conflicting information out there.
I'm not against lifting or even lifting heavy-- I want to do it. But I wanna do it smart, like a lady.

The eating and lifting principles are the same for male and female alike. I began with stronglifts 5 x 5 and am now using Wendler's 5/3/1 four times a week.
