I have a Health o meter HDM770DQ2-05 model. It worked fine initially, but lately it's been giving me weights that are ridiculously low. It was saying 130 give or take a few pounds for the first month or two that I had it, which is consistent with what I get from other scales, but lately it's been giving me weights in the late 60s and early 70s, and I'm sure I didn't turn into a should-be-hospitalized anorexic, I'm getting readings from other scales consistent with being around 130. Do you know how I can reset it so it gives me accurate weight readings?

ok I figured it out - I was placing it on carpet, which apparently makes the readings inaccurate. works fine when I use it on the hard/uncarpeted floor.0
