how to search recipe database

Is there a way to search the member recipe database? I have made a few recipes public to myfitnesspal but don't know how to search others'

    From what I read, not yet. They are working on compiling recipes and once they have enough they will be having a search.

    I was trying to do that earlier today. Guess I just need to be patient. This site will rock even more when that is possible!

    so there's seems to be no update on how to search the recipe database. having to go page to page and i have at least 12 pages of recipes is exhausting - should count that as a workout

    Yup. But that's a different issue from what this 12-year-old thread that you've resurrected is about.

    If you use the app, you can search your recipes by name, rather than page through the way you have to do on the website. No help if you don't have a smartphone, I realize. Best of luck.
