I love fish, and have found that the simplest preparations are my favorite.
This is probably my go-to method for any kind of fish. Halibut is my favorite, but it tends to be a bit pricey. However, it pretty much works with any white fish. http://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/halibut-meunire-10000001911370/
I also love rainbow trout, and it's the easiest to prepare. Sprinkle with some lemon pepper and broil it for eight minutes.
For salmon, I like to season with a little salt and cumin, cook it in the skillet, and service with a sauce made with light sour cream, lime juice, and cumin.
I do something similar with talapia for fish tacos: cook it in the skillet with salt and cumin, and put it in a tortilla with your favorite toppings.
If you're interested in another recipe for shrimp, this is my favorite. I had it for dinner last night, and am having leftovers for lunch today. The slaw is amazing - and I don't normally like slaw. (It can be spicy, though!) http://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/shrimp-poboys-50400000122057/
By the way, you want to be careful not to eat too much fish each week, as you need to watch out for mercury levels. Are you able to have chicken or pork? What about bison?0 -

I just season fish with whatever Mrs. Dash I feel like using and broil it.0

I live in Louisiana, so we have lots of yummy cajun seasonings. Zatarain's makes a "blackened" seasoning that is super yummy. I sprinkle it on tilapia, and pan sear it with a little butter or oil. If you can't find Zatarain's, Tony Chachere's seasoning is pretty much found anywhere these days!0

Sometimes, when I'm too lazy to spend a lot of time in the kitchen, I steam some tilapia fillets (when I buy them in bulk, I bag 2 fillets in a ziploc bag for easy freezing) in a little bit of soy sauce and lemon. Add some veggies and my meal is complete.0

I like to add lime juice, garlic, cumin, cilantro, some diced onion and tomato and black beans to tilapia and use as taco filling.0

I like the frozen whiting filets (2 per sealed plastic), throw it in the oven for 20 minutes, use spices if I want to add a little more flavor, and then eat it with a fruit salsa - like pineapple. Or you can put both in a tortilla with some lettuce and there you have a fish taco.0

My husband and I really love baked tilapia.
You can buy frozen tilapia almost anywhere, put it on a cookie sheet sprinkle some black pepper on it and cut up a fresh lemon to put on top, bake it until the fish is done ( about 30 min depending on the size of fish) add french fries or a veggie and it makes a delicious, low calorie, low work meal.0 -
Here are some of my favorite fish recipes. Note though, I eat low carb; if you don't, feel free to substitute in grains if you prefer.

Easy to make recipe using canned Alaskan salmon. These are tasty and very mild for fish.

Super quick dinner recipe, everyone loves this fish at my house. It can be calorie and sodium high though due to the parmesan.

Pan-seared Tilapia in Caper Sauce

I love this recipe. Capers are so fantastically tasty. The asparagus fits well with this too and comes out perfectly steamed.

I'm looking forward to trying this tonight. Using tilapia instead of sea bass.
