So I have extra time on my hands and since I love reading so much I figured I'd read some books. Suggestions on any good books. I love reading romance but open to other suggestions. Currently reading Beautiful Disaster

"Barney's version" is one of my favs.
Most of Mario Puzos work. "The Sicilian" being my fav.0 -
The last book I read (and liked!) was Humble Pie from Gordon Ramsay.
I imagine you'd have to be interested in him, positively or negatively, to wanna read it though.
That's an autobiography though, no romance! haha :laugh:0 -
Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn is a book I read a couple of months ago that is awesome.0

"SAT Study Guide" by CollegeBoard.
"No Easy Day" by Mark Owen0 -
@khall86790 I just read a brief summary about Gone Girl and it sounds like a really interesting book. I'm definitely going to add that to my list. Thanks.0

I enjoy reading about other people's world view and experiences that are outside of my own. I am reading Lalita Tademy's,"Cane River," about four generations of African American women. I recently finished, "In the Garden of Beasts," by Erik Larson. It is based upon the communiques of the American Ambassador to Berlin during the 1930's. Larson's novel, "The Devil in the White City," was also a good read. "The Smartest Guys in the Room -- the Amazing Rise and Scandalous Fall of ENRON," by Bethany McLean was great.
Of those if you are looking for a beach or airport book I'd recommend, "The Devil in the White City."0 -
I'm currently reviewing an advance copy of "The First Rule Of Swimming" by Courtney Angela Brkic which will be released May 28th. It's a wonderful story of two sisters and the tragedy that occurs when one goes missing. Takes place between a small Croatian Island and New York.

Might have to check out one of these when I'm done w/the current. Sounds intriguing.0 -
