Baked vs microwaved sweet potato?

Hi guys! I know that microwaving a sweet potato is quicker and changes the texture, but does anybody have any strong preference as to which is better and why? Thank you!

Baked caramelizes some of the sugars and baked just tastes better overall. imo0

I usually do them in the microwave. But I love them in the oven, takes a long time and sometimes I don't have the time.0

I think they cook more evenly in the oven, but if I'm in a hurry, it's the microwave.0

Yes. Baking also evaporates some of the moisture if you fork them first. That makes them less dense, same as with a regular potato.0 -
i microwave till nearly cooked then finish of in the oven0
