Just curious everyone,
What was (or is) the hardest thing you have faced on your weight loss journey? (Cravings, bad emotions, etc). We all know weight loss isn't easy and there are bound to be at least a few struggles.
Mine is JUNK FOOD! I can't seem to stick to my calories for any length of time before I just have a binge day and eat junk all day....

mine is that the medication that I have to take and will be on for the rest of my life is notorious for weight gain and increased appetite0

Mine is the constant stream of junk food that gets bought into my office for someone's birthday/leaving/because its Friday. So hard to resist when it's staring you in the face!!0

chocolate. I can be doing great all day, and then go to the store and can't stop myself from grabbing a candy bar. I hate myself after wards.0

^^^^^ This!!! There is always something else drawing my attention away from exercise0 -

Wine and oh yeah, wine!!0

Mine is resisting chocolate and cookies. I used to eat so many chocolate bean cookies before I went on a diet and lots of chocolate bars. Whenever I see people eating them now I feel this huge surge of jealousy and bad cravings, but I know if I eat well for the week then I can allow myself a treat. Just one cookie rather than the whole bag though!0

Patience and not letting small setbacks send me toward failure.
Oh, yeah, and alcohol, too...0 -
For me it is exercise! Like someone said, putting yourself first is harder than you think.0

Probably alcohol, and spending all my time around guys who are bigger (and therefore can eat more) than I. I don't want to just give up and embrace my role as The Chick and start eating and drinking nothing but salads and water, because pizza and beer is delicious.0

Not to freak out if the scale moves up a bit. Not from eating but from gaining muscle. Not to freak out when someone mentions my weight.0

The hardest thing for me is being patient about my wait for surgery while some amazing people here are progressing so well with their lifting.0

^^^^^This!
I sometimes get so caught up in my head (how many cals is this, do I need to up my cals, do I need to drink more water, cant have that because of sugar, need more this because of protein, OMG the scale moved up .1 lbs now Ive got to drop my cals, etc etc etc) that I simply stop everything and give myself a break and during this break (which usually lasts 2-7 weeks) I gain back a lot of what I lost.
I think I am simply intimidated by losing weight and having my body look the way I want it to. Truth be told, I LOVE working out and I enjoy finding new healthy items to cook/eat and I get a rush when I plan my meals and stick to them...its when the scale doesnt move that I get discouraged and get caught up in my head...
I never could just throw away my scale. I would just go buy another one...
