Hi all, so my church does small groups, and they have some workout groups. I planned on doing a low impact one, but they don't have it this semester. They only have Turbo fire, So my question is, can a beginner do turbo fire? I'm 243, out of shape, but I really want to do one of these groups. Any advice?

Yes, TF is high impact but there are adjustments that can be made. In the DVDs there is someone showing that option. It would depend on the instructor. I say go for it, and if something doesn't feel right then don't do that.
I love TF and have seen people pf all fitness levels rock it.0 -
I watched the youtube video of it, it looks hard but fun. I'm going to go for it.
Thanks.

You can totally do TurboFire. As Merci444 said, they show two options: low intensity and high intensity. The low intensity girl even does modified jumping jacks! You will do awesome with this program; I had a lot of fun with it.0

Yes! I'm trying to get back in shape after 2 years of doing a whole lot of nothing due to complications from a broken leg. I'm on day 5 of TurboFire, it's lots of fun, Chalene really motivates you to keep going and I've already lost 2.5 pounds. It's an intense workout but definitely worth it.0
