    I love my alone time! I love not being accountable to anyone, not cooking or cleaning up after anyone, and not making uncomfortable small talk when I don't feel like it. I've been divorced a few years now and still smile when I walk in the door at night and everything is right where I left it.

    At home I garden and relax and chat online. I've kept myself really occupied with some big goals like a marathon and Tough Mudder. I go shopping or out to dinner or to wine events when I want to get out.

    I've also learned that travelling alone can be really fun. A couple of times a year I go down to Mexico and stay in a resort, party insanely, and meet people from all over. I go sightseeing on my own schedule or book a tour if I want company.

    I watch Bridget Jones' Diary with a healthy/light dessert or cake and some tea, and wear a sheet mask + paint my nails while doing so (: Or sometimes I experiment with make-up, hair and outfits, just to make myself feel a little bit "renewed" for a while.

    And thinking about all the adorable couples out there who are average looking, or took ages to find each other, or are complicated, but are so sweet together, also gives me hope that I'll find someone some day ^__^ /shot for optimism/ :')

    It's a reference to the euphemism "flicking the bean", the bean being the lady part most responsive to touch. Sorry for the second euphemism, unsure how scientific we're allowed to be here.
