The hyper one that never wants to be in the same place for too long.

    designated driver.

    The king of friends!

I WAS the resident "rockstar" with my friends - but counting cals has put a bit of a damper on that.

Old reliable and Dear Abby: They want to go do something and there's nobody else that can go, they call me, their bored and everybody else is doing something, they call me. I end up driving or it's close to their house rather than mine and I have to drive over there.
Have a problem? they call me because I'm apparently Dear Abby for them.

    The organizer.

I organize all the get together events. Otherwise, we'd never see each other.

    I'm the listener and caretaker.

I'm the aloof one with a heavy dose of sarcasm. They know if they ask me something they will get the truth non-sugar-coated, whether it is what they want to hear or not. Sugar coated - no. Sarcasm coated - absofreakinglutely.

I 'm the mother/medical specialist, the psychiatrist/sounding board, the encyclopedia, the computer fixer/technophile, the internet search hound, the one w/ a mechanic for a husband and the one to ask when everyone is short on anything, I probably have a spare/back-up/change/or will buy it for them.

Sadly, very few of these services are returned, hell....currently, my "circle" is down to 2. So, yeah....

I prefer to refer to myself as a no-s***ter (as opposed to an asshat) - although I love the term asshat!!!! I tell it like it is but without being a b**ch about it. Nobody ever doesn't know where they stand with me.

I'm also the extremely sarcastic/funny one.

And I'm also the one who will help my friends bury the bodies and hide the evidence!!!!!

I'm the listener. Not much of a talker, but I absorb every bit of the conversation.

And I'm the brutally honest friend. Don't ask my opinion if you ain't ready to hear it.

And then I'm also known to be sarcastic and funny when I do speak up. I'm one of those quick witted ones that won't say much, then come at ya with something funny right when the opportunity arises.

I'm usually the cinnamon role, but I've been a dinner role, a kaiser role, and even a sushi role a few times.

I am the cheerleader, enthusiastic and supportive. Probably, because I'm older, I have the "mom" thing that spills over into all my relationships. I am the witty, funny one - full of stories and work to make everybody happy. I can get "too bright" and become dominant - I work on sharing the spotlight.

Caretaker - they seek me out to make sure they get home safely.

Hostess - they mess up my house and eat my food pretty regularly.

Pumpkin - I have been known to turn into one of these at midnight. If we are out, even if I am the designated driver, if I am tired, I just leave and go home. "Where did Ginger go?" "Ginger turned into a pumpkin. We have to get our own ride home from the ball."

So I guess I'm the mom.

I'm the 'mom' I remember to bring everything we could ever need.

I'm the fixer, got a problem, I'll know what to do.

and I'm the DD, because I'm the one who will do all the fun things sober.

And I'm the inappropriate one. The one who can be counted on to joke about the fact you just said pull out or that hole is tight or something along those lines.

I'm the mother hen. Everyone comes to me for help/advice/consolationh but they dont always get what they want!!

im the asshat who says what everyone is thinking but are scared to say cause it may cross the line.

That's me too! Always pointing out the inconsistencies. For some reason I feel its my role (at least someone's role) to do this to keep everyone honest. Sometimes though, it is not such a good spot to be in, I will admit. The outspoken one, as some call it.

I am also the DD, because the others cannot handle their liquor and beer intake. They just don't understand how and why they are so wrecked the next day. Me...I prefer to have 2 or more consecutive days of fun. Some of them will tear it up one day, and pay for it the next 3. It doesn't make sense to me.

i dont even get the chance to do that, as soon as someone says something along those lines it is like they all turn in unison at me...whether i am paying attention or not

like several others here, it all depends on which group of friends I'm with...

For my besties since HS, I'm the trouble maker... yes, I'm usually the one that starts the "fun times"!

For my co-workers, I'm the voice of reason (how funny is that considering the previous statement)....

For my co-workers/friends I am the mother figure (I'm the oldest of that group)... they come to me for advice on just about all situations.

I guess you could say I'm the jack-of-all type friend to have around
