bigger men/women iv always found to be bubbly, funny and a pleasure to be around, my favorite 2 auntie where big too. But after they lost the weight they both changed and not for the better. So does it ?? I know i feel like a new person as i lose weight but can it be for the worse or go to our heads ??
please try not to take offense to what ive said, i know there's a few here that can get a bit touchy

I was pretty much a self righteous know it all before I lost weight, and I'm still a self righteous know it all.0

I've always been awesome. It's something your born with.0

I have been told I carry myself with much more confidence since I lost the weight. I was randomly asked it I was a cop in a store the other day (just wearing my usual office attire of wranglers, cowboy boots, polo, and a justin boots ball cap). So I guess now I just walk around like I run *kitten* lol.0

nope.
I am more happy and social0 -
Way to perpetuate a stereotype. I hear bigger girls give better...erhmm you know. You might lose that skill once you lose the weight.0

I hear it's because we're better at eating things than smaller people  I don't want to lose that skill, it's the only one I have, dammit! :grumble:0 -

usually, if there's a personality change, i find it's for the positive. confidence gained +.0

I really have only known one person that had a major personality change after losing weight. After my ex brother in law lost 150 lbs, he turned into a major player & started cheating on my sister. Maybe he was an a@@hole prior to that & we just didn't see it. I always thought he was just the best guy & was glad my sister had him in her life---then, not so much.0

From some deep conversations with friends of mine-
Depression can lead to being fake fun, fake happy, fake nice.
Trying to hide your misery.
Not everyone enjoys being overweight and can try desperately to hide it.0 -
Even though I still have a long way to go, I have found that my personality has changes. When I was bigger I was hiding who I was, I would hardly talk to anyone and if I did I would convince myself that they didn't want to talk to me.
I feel I am getting back to the person I used to be, more confident and much happier0 -
i believe it goes along together. i believe everything is holistic from eating, workout, appearance.
my personality changed, for better or not then it's up for the other people to judge but i'm working hard to be on the better side of things.0 -

Yep.. I have that problem too... However, as I started to feel better about myself I noticed more confidence in my awesomeness.0 -
I have fibromyalgia and a whole lot of other problems. Just 40 dozen eggs ago (how much weight I lost), I was extremely lethargic, could barely get out of bed and I was cranky a lot.
Now, I am walking up to 3 hours a day (not all at once of course) and not as cranky. My blood work is improving. I still have fibro though and always will. But, I think I can get to the point where it is just a painful condition and it doesn't effect my health in any other way.0 -
