I'm 5'2", 43 years old and started one week ago at my highest weight ever, 244. I was just thoughly sick of myself and clearly my strategy of doing nothing about it wasn't working.
So, I've started using a nutritional shake and watching my calories for right now. In a few weeks, I hope to start exercising to really boost progress and get stronger.
One week in and I've lost 4 lbs. I didn't take a picture last week, but my profile pic is from my daughter's 5th birthday party in February. I hope to have some progress pictures to add by the time I figure out how to add pictures!0 -
<<---- My DURING! I'm 5'1 and started at 252, I'm currently 210. Can't wait to have after pics!0

This 5' 2.5" person is very impressed and happy to see what I can look like down the road. The scale's being a bit stubborn this week, I really want to hit the 25 lb mark. Good work by all. Thanks for sharing.0

There are so many inspiring stories out there! I am only 7 lbs into my journey, BUT that is seven pounds less than I was when April rolled around! It is hard to look into the mirror that one particular day and realize that is you staring back! Don't know why I let myself get to this point, but not a happy camper at all! So April became the month to begin my new journey to a healthier me. Exercise and eating well. God gave me this body to make my earthly journey in, I am sure He expects me to take better care of it!0

I'm 5'2" and just about a year ago I got a fitbit and was determined to shed some extra lbs ...I started at 168 and am 126 - one lb shy of my original goal...maybe I never want to reach it (complacency leads to bigger sized jeans) but I'm here to tell you it can be done! Keep moving ( I try and hot the 10,000 step mark every day) and record every morsel that passes your lips - its not much of a secret....but it works - good luck!0
