It has been the most wonderful day... Mostly Cloudy and much wind so off the girlies and I went for another late evening walk. We got in TWO miles......That would make my Grand Total for May 114 Miles....wooooooooooooooo whooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!

Fri. May 30th: Walked 2.27 miles with my husband around 9:30pm.
Needed to walk 1.89 miles more but it was late and dark and raining on and off and the back of my knees hurt and my shoulders hurt and I was walking in casual sandals as I didn't have time to go home to change as I made myself walk as soon as the worship service was over at a church as it gave me a change of scenery when walking as I am so sick of walking around my neighburhood.
48.11 miles completed
1.89 miles short
Plus 3 times I added in a few miles from biking so those didn't really count.
My personal goal had been a mile a day which would have been 31 miles as well as adding in a one rest day a week so that would have been less miles accomplished unless I doubled up after the rest day.
The fact that I was so close to achieving 50 miles is a big accomplishment for me as I made mysef do almost 20 miles more than I had planned for my own personal goal.0 -
inshapeCK .....YOU HAVE STILL DONE WELL. We call those 'baby steps.' When I started 4 years ago I could barely go 1/4 mile without being out of breath! I can now walk 6 miles at least. I can do 8-9 IF I do a second walk.... I have now started running a bit with the walking when I dont take my little girls. It is not easy too run with two dogs...lol KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND SEE WHAT NEXT MONTH BRINGS FOR YOU!!!!!!!!! HANG IN THERE!!!:flowerforyou:0
