Little successes this week

I have been avoiding my jeans for months. It was to the point where I was needing to get "fatter" jeans because I couldn't comfortably wear my normal ones anymore. Well, I decided to try a pair on today, and not only was I able to get them on, but I didn't have to suck it in... AND when I sat down I didn't feel like puke. Yay!! They may see more than the inside of a drawer now!
In yoga class Saturday morning, we were in sumo and given the option of progressing into crow pose. I've tried crow before and have almost fallen on my face, if you know the pose, there is no way your hands will help brace the fall. Anyway, I held it for only a few moments, but could feel my core tighten up and actually hold the pose. It wasn't a tip up and tip back down. Felt great!!

Great job! Every week at Yoga the instructor encourages us to find a little more space and that is so motivating when I can! Today I was in a low lunge twist and could actually see my opposit foot behind me. I couldn't even hold that pose 5 months ago....0
