Everyone will probably laugh but I listen to contemporary christian music on pandora. It gives me motivation, hope, and allows me to connect with my spirituality a little. If a slow song comes on, I'll just skip it.0

I don't listen to anything. I like to listen to my body and see where I need to improve and what I need to work on. I find that when I listen to music or something I don't pay attention to when I'm getting fatigued or dizzy, and I like to know when that happens. haha0

I have read on the forums that singing under your breath while running helps control your breath so I listen to any songs that I can understand all the words to or that I can make up words to so I can do that. For lifting, I listen to some heavier metal, though. Listen to heavy metal while lifting heavy metal!0

I play in a band, so I usually listen to the new songs we're learning in a loop, when I'm in the basement lifting. My elliptical is in the tv room, so I put on something from netflix or on demand when I'm doing cardio.0

Right now I'm obsessed with the AC/DC and Metallica stations on Pandora, but I listen to everything from Eminem to Slipknot to Demi Levato to Tech Nine to Blink182, Basically anything random0

Let me preface my post by saying that I am a geek, so I am going to share with you what I do. It's not hard and creates some good music to listen to when I am running or working out. I found a free program called BPM Analyzer (link below):
http://download.cnet.com/MixMeister-BPM-Analyzer/3000-2169_4-10290906.html
I analyzed my entire music collection using this free software and then I setup Smart Playlists in Itunes for different BPM ranges. I have 80-100, 100-120, 120-140, 160+ .
I read about this on some post somewhere and have used it for about two years now. Hope this helps someone else.
