I personally don't think it's necessary to show pics of my success. Why? Because I'm not looking for compliments OR comments from strangers on the internet.
Honestly, I find these types of posts nothing more than a cry for attention.
Shouldn't we be better than this?
I train 6 hours a week and am meticulous about my intake for health reasons only. / sarcasm
If you don't like progress pics that's fine but don't get on your high horse about it. Some of us work hard and like the recognition.4 -
Ladies and Gents, Show off that incredible transformation you made! I'm sure it will inspire many out there!

I was just at my rec center and there was a giant room of people listening to country music, having a blast, dancing, and generally the mood was awesome. I walked in, completely unsolicited and yelled "I don't like country music or dancing" and then I walked back out.
They went right back to having fun.

To everyone who posted a picture of your results - THANK YOU! Your hard work shows and it's very motivating!2

Well, lookie who's so much better than everyone else! Tell me, what SHOULD people post in the success stories thread? I'm DYING for your opinion.2 -
I know you've seen this picture before because we are friends on here, but I thought I would post anyway. I wouldn't exactly say NOT to HOT, but I feel I look a little different and have way more confidence than the girl in my "before" picture. About 110lb difference between the two. Good luck everyone
You totally look like Taylor Swift in your after shot! So adorable!!
OMG! HAWT!!!0 -

I, and everyone else posting in this thread, except for you, are enjoying it very much! Are threads like this a cry for attention or a display of goal-oriented people trying to get healthier and supporting each other? Come on. And the OP didn't even post any pics of herself, so how is that a cry for attention on her part?
EDIT: Looks like Ms. Troll is the one crying for attention because she certainly knows that making derogatory posts will incite other people to quote her.3 -

This is the progress I made last year, from when I received my bridesmaid dress for my best friends wedding where I couldn't even do the zip up a tiny but to the wedding day where it was a little bit big, yey!
I'm weighing less now than I did in my after picture but don't feel any smaller, maybe once I feel I've actually lost some body fat I'll have a new after picture to share

I think the extra boost or compliments some people receive is what keeps em' going. It's nice to compliment someone. JMO. Plus, I do not think there is anything wrong with showing off all your hard work. It takes true dedication and motivation to lose the amount of weight some of these folks have. Give em' a break!
Apparently the person that posted the negative comment in this thread must have realized they were about to start a sh**storm because I cannot find their original post to quote from.
Everyone please keep the pics coming. There is great motivation in seeing other success and that is the point of this thread. It is not about compliments or "pats on the back", even though that is nice as well, it is about sharing your success so others know it can be done.2 -
Everyone on here looks awesome in there before and after pics. This really makes me want to stay on track this time to hopefully one day be able to post results like these!!!!0

Let's see if this worked... pottted history - started mid July last year at 244.5lbs. Second pic (19th May) was taken at 166lbs. This was the day I finally managed to zip the dress up all the way - my goal since the start. Currently around 160lbs. 6 stone (84lbs) lost so far. Still working on it...30 -
