To me, success is fitting into prepreg clothes. I was 140lbs wearing size 7. Now Im 152lb wearing size 9/10. If I don't lose any weight but continuing doing StrongLifts 5x5 three times a week (plus some cardio), am I ever going to get into my size 7 clothes again??? OR should I just do it the way i did it before? heathy eating, light weights and cardio three times a week and get down to 140lbs again. I should mention maybe the big *kitten* from squats might stop me from getting back into those clothes too, huh?

Who cares if it's bigger if it looks awesome? I'd personally rather have a bigger, hotter booty than a smaller, flabbier booty.0

If you have a calorie deficit, you will lose weight whether you do cardio or not. Cardio just might help you GET a calorie deficit. The lifting will help you keep the muscle you have as you lose weight (so most of the weight lost is fat). You'll get smaller and lose weight both ways but be smaller at a higher weight if you lift (or reach your goal size at a higher weight..and have less fat)0

The only thing I can think of is im not really at a calorie deficit cuz my body is all the same size. Been lifting since March 2012 inconsistently and CONSISTENTLY since April 1/2013. So I have 2 months in of consistency. The only change i notice is a bigger, higher butt! Please note that I am NOT gaining weight either though. I must be at maintenance. Prob have a lower TDEE or whatever cuz I have type 1 diabetes and hypothyroidism SOOOOOO since I changed my calorie goal to 1500 on June 1st, maybe now I will begin to see change.0

It's frustrating trying to pin down an accurate tdee. Sounds like you have a good plan0

Im with you, all I want to do is fit my pre preg clothes and seems whatever I do is just not quite right,its hard alright. Im a cardio queen but have been doing more weightsy cardio stuff (I'm not really into weights) and now I have really muscly legs and arms that kinda feel bigger not smaller but tight hmmmmm what to do. My pants are still too tight and tummy still there! grrr when you solve the problem id like to know0
