strugling

hiya all im struggling at mo im always feeling hungry ive just upped my calories from 1400 to 1600 which is to loose 1/2 lb a week but is tht too much cals a day ? has any one eles got theres set to 1/2 lb ??

    Hi. do not give up.

    Try to read the message boards about TDEE and MBR. These were very helpful to me.

    I had to wait for at least 4 weeks of introducing any change in my calorie intake, prior to making more changes.

    Please be patience and persistence. You can do this.

    Hello, You need to do what works for you. Baby steps are the best way and if having your calories set at 1400 - 1600 helps you lose 1/2 pound a week that is still a half pound lost. You will gradually lower your calorie intake as time goes by.

    Just try to stick with it! I wish you lots of success! :smile:
