Who thinks they should change the Water Consumption ticker to a Coffee Consumption ticker on the food page? Maybe add a dropdown list for weak, regular, strong and hardly pours too.

but does water count as coffee?0
-
in the US, sometimes.0

I think perhaps there should be a bathroom ticker to accompany the coffee/water ticker. :drinker: For pure science of course. and #1 only. :blushing:0

How about an alcohol counter :drinker: :bigsmile:0
-
Coffee and tea count as long as your not adding lots of sugar to it0

Nothing is water except water.
There are things you can add to water but that changes it and destroys your kidneys!0 -
Cold water is healthier than hot water because of the calories burned to pee warm instead of cold.0
-
I always thought it was 8 glasses of water a day that I needed to drink. This ticker says cups.0

If it burns when you pee, switch to cranberry juice.
Can we have a cranberry juice counter?0 -

It is glasses; I do not know why they labelled it cups but a cup is 8 oz', sooo.....0 -

1 cup = 8oz, that's a liquid measuring cup. Basically you "need" to drink 64 oz during the day. One big glass, several cups, 32 oz in the morning and 32 oz in the evening...either way, 8oz*8oz=64oz0 -

Agreed, the water ticker is pretty annoying. I usually skip even logging my water consumption because of it.0

8oz * 8oz = 64 oz squared0 -

It must be Friday's weather. Steady on the weekend is a couple of hours away.0 -

Heck, we should have #2 also... so you can track how regular you are... :blushing: :blushing: :blushing:0 -

We had this nonsensical discussion the other day about whether coffee/tea should be counted as water. All I can say to this discussion is that school is definitely out.0 -

I prefer to remain oblivious to the amount I drink, Thank you. :drinker:0 -

Thanks, you guys. A cup or 8 oz. is definetely more exact than some "glass". Off to measure the ozs in my regular glasses now.
update: There are 1.25 cups in each one of my regular glasses, or 10 oz.0 -
But how big is your coffee mug?0

But how big is your coffee mug?
11.5 oz, but since caffiene is a diuretic in the amounts I consume it, I'd estimate that any coffees or teas would yield somewhat less water consumption to log than if I was drinking pure water or other un-caffeinated liquids.0 -

But how big is your coffee mug?
That's a rather personal question, dontcha think? I thought this was a G-rated conversation. :laugh:0 -

I'm with ya!! :drinker:0 -
I heard that 1 cup coffee requires two extra cups of water added to your daily intake...
But it could be BS, and I refuse to look into it 'cause that'd make me need 12 cups of water a day! :laugh:0
