Dumbest diet of the year award.

If only humans had chlorophyll in our skin. Of course, we'd look something like this . . .

I'd genuinely like to see how far she can go with that.

the "diet" aspect is really just a by product.

it looks like she's trying something more spiritual here than losing weight.

Still crazy in my mind....but i can see her logic leap to get there...especially understanding some of the more ascetic yogi practices..

that being said.....she's gonna be really week after 2 months and her metabolism is gonna kick her in the *kitten* once she starts eating again...

    so there's that too.

Definitely makes keeping track of your diet pretty easy on MFP. Do we have a sunlight entry yet???

What makes this really funny, is Seattle doesn't get 6 months of sun.

There's a documentary about this called "Eat the Sun". Dude tried it. Burned his retinas. Still, look for sunlight in the MFP database. Some fool will add it I promise.

Even plants and the tiniest insects need more than sunlight.

We would just get our nutrition from sunlight. We would also be much stronger I think.

I'm in Seattle, no sun all day so far. Does this count as a "fasting" day?

maybe someone was logging vitamin D....? Or maybe someone thinks they're a plant (if it lists anything other than vitamin D levels in the info section, then its more likely to be the latter)

as for the crazy diet.... 600 million years of animal evolution and no animal evolved the ability to photosynthesise.... so maybe she wants to reverse that trend.

There is apparently one animal that can, but I just pulled this off of google so no clue if it's been verified or disproved in the last 3 years.
