Hello from the new guy

Hello all,
I'm new to MFP and new to counting calories. I'm a "very soon-to-be" 40 year old (don't rush it!!) and have been running off/on for 10 years with many breaks in between. I've never been one to count calories but have always had a pretty conservative appetite, but like many others have had moments of weakness.

My ideal weight is 160, I'm at 180 now and feeling great as a few lbs have dropped off. Have been running again for 2 months and joined a gym recently with a plan (and air-conditioning) and now concentrating on watching and counting calories.

40 never felt so good!
