Hi all

Hi everyone,

I have been diagnosed with pcos and started a health regime,

Just wondering how often people weigh themselves?

I currently weigh in everyday but my friends and family say to do it once a week.

Anyways. Goodluck everyone xx

I have heard once a week also but I weight everyday so I can see how what I ate the day before affected the scale........the scale does flucutate so don't get frustrated if you think you had a really good food day and the scale doesn't move or goes up....just keep eating healthy and you will see results!

    Thank you Cindy.

I like weighing everyday usually first thing in the morning, everyday my scales have been shifting by half a pound so i feel it is motivating me to get through the day and be good.

I also like to see the number on the scale every morning, so far only seen the same weight or down a bit. It really makes my day and encourages me when I see this. Who would ever know that you could love your scale!!!!

I was obsessed and was weighing myself everyday. I have been told to weigh yourself once a week and my weigh in is every Friday. Good luck to you!

I just weigh once a week on the same day and do it first thing in the morning when I get to work. I work in a hospital so I go up to the same scale everytime. Works for me.
  • Invest in some good scales and weigh in every morning, necked. Keeps me on track.

Hi, it suits me best to not even own a set of scales. It sounds crazy but I trust that if I'm eating right then I will lose weight. To weigh myself daily or even weekly makes me obsess and worry if the scales don't reflect a loss. I weigh in at the doctor's office every 4 to 6 weeks and this way it seems I get a better, more consistent view of how much I'm losing. I expect even this will eventually reflect the inevitable "plateau" that we all need to psychologically prepare for. I know too that this is not a one size suits all kind of deal, so good luck with whatever works best for you.
