I am a runner 5'5 135, been trying to get toned and been lifting but decided to start p90x program including my running in it. I already take soy protein shake but what other supplements should I take, especially so I don't feel sore afterwards abs tired. Please advise.

Hello Mayra! I'm sure others have more insight into supplements than I do, I'm just an average joe. I've done P90X in the past though, and used the Beachbody Results and Recovery formula and it worked well for the soreness. Because of the expense, I switched to a protein shake (since I was already using them as a meal replacement) post workout to good effect.
More recently though I just started back up with p90x and add one run in on my off day every week. I've been using low fat lactose free (i'm loctose intollerant) chocolate milk right after my workouts and it's been working great. The only other thing I use right now is a multivitamin with a joint supplement for my knees (from 8 years in the Army) and I'm going strong without any debilitating soreness slowing me down.
I hope that's helpful! Good luck with P90X!0 -
