Your fav low cal snack?
I am having a hard time coming up with low cal snacks I try to keep them around 100 cal or less sometimes 150 what's your favorite snack? I have a great low cal ranch that's 55 cal for 1/4 cup I use for my veggies but I'm really looking to expand
Ranch recipe (don't knock it till u try it....it's surprising!)
1cup cottage cheese (I used 4%. But just keep an eye on the label for low cal sometimes low fat is not low cal)
3-4 tbsp ranch dressing mix (I use Kraft thick and creamy or buttermilk)
1/4 cup water ( or more depending on how thick or thin u like it)
Blend for 2-3 min until smooth i prefer to put in fridge for an hr or so but my husband eats right out of blender makes abut 4 servings...I make 2 batches and keep in mason jar for about 2 weeks but it rarely last that long!
Hope you enjoy and looking forward to trying ur snacks!!!

I try to make each "snack" intentional - so I'll eat a piece of fruit (or half if they're high in calories, like bananas) and some protein (string cheese, nuts, cottage cheese, non-fat greek yogurt).0

popcorn (no butter) pan poped not microwave0

Almonds, Greek Yogurt, Sharp White Cheddar and Cottage cheese with pineapple. Those are my 4 main snacks. If I eat sugary snacks with no protein I am just hungry again and not satisfied.0

crunchies freeze dried strawberry and bananas from GNC only 25 cals per serving which is 1/2 cup and i love crystal farms light string cheese only 50 cals. And i like to occasionally have a large peeled and sliced cucumber with a little bit of salt, which averages out to be about 40 cals or so depending on the size. Oh and watermelon, It is so good and so cheap in calories.
Hope this helps you out. Good luck.0 -

If you have a dehydrator, slice up some bananas, pineapple, apples, dip them in lemon juice and they are tart and sweet and soo good for a snack. Also, if you thinly slice a sweet potato or white one, it makes a good crunchy chip in the oven or dehydrator too. I also love just a cup of low sugar flavored (cinnamon apple, maple sugar, spice, etc.) instant oatmeal. All good.0

Carrots and hummus, ritz crackers, nuts, popcorn, pom bear crisps, pretty much anything from Graze as they're the perfect size for snacks and some from about 60 calories........

Okay...here is my go to snack....
Take one large container of cottage cheese (fat-free) and mix with any flavor jello-o packet (I love cherry!!). Then fold-in half container of fat-free cool whip. Add any type of fruit and sit overnight! Can we say "HEAVENLY"?? :smokin:
I also love almonds, baby-bell cheese, fiber-one bars, and laughing cow products!0 -
