amzberry: you look absolutely wonderful. your b4 pic reminds me of how i look now. since i have 2 babies i have what they call an apron/fat pad, etc. that i can't get toned for nothing. do you have any tips on how you got flat abs and what types of foods you at ate and stayed away from?
Hi I lost the weight on stupidly low calories, that with what I know now, was not really necessary. I began with lots of walking, running and hip hop abs plus zumba. So lots of cardio. These days tho I do very minimal cardio and lots of heavy lifting. This is because my goals have changed thru natural progression. For weight loss cardio is key. I just went HARDOUT no excuses and did everything fast and hard. They say abs are made in the kitchen, so really watch sugar intake. I didnt cut anything out altogether tho because I knew if I didnt it wouldn't last and id binge. Portion control and wiser choices is key. Now that I lift heavy I struggle to eat as many calories as I should, but do try to at least fill them with good fats and good choices. Females, unfortunately, store fat on hips, back of arms and stomach naturally because of our hormones, so any changes we are able to make at all, we should be super proud of0 -

I love these posts, they're so inspirational! Here is mine...started end of April/12. I'm a couple pounds away from goal weight but i'm not focused on that anymore. I'm working towards body fat% and weight lifting now. I'm about 2 months in. Here are my b/a pics so far. Don't mind the stupid smile, my husband was making me laugh because he always says i look *****y in my pics, lol. Bottom picture was taken just when i started weight lifting.

This is my at my biggest getting really really close to the 250 mark
Here I am several months after we started running, I wasn't really eating that great and I hung around at this weight forever! I was around 215-220 I believe.
Here are the pics I took a few nights ago. I am currently sitting at 194 lbs. I have really started working harder on eating much healthier and my goal is to obtain 12% or lower body fat. Right now I'm sitting at about 17.5%
