I know, tons of you are training for half marathons, whatever. I hate running, always have. I was on the track team in high school, but I was a sprinter, so 200 meters is the distance I like to run (took me about 25 seconds or so to run it back then). But even back then, I couldn't run any real distances. Barely could choke out a mile.

This morning I ran 2 solid miles on the treadmill, at a 12-minute-per-mile pace (5 mph). I have never run 2 straight non-stop miles in my entire life. And honestly, I still hate running, and I don't plan to do it regularly, but it is a pretty good measure of fitness, so to be able to run 2 non-stop miles for me is unbelievable.

Honestly, I'm not even that fat anymore - just "overweight," and barely that now (I've lost about 50 pounds now), but running is not my thing at all. But I guess when the zombies come, I'll make it 2 miles before they catch me!
