Just wanted to share, finally found a great app for 5/3/1 on the iPhone. Before I was using a calculator app called CalcForm (good app too btw).

Anyhow it's called "Big Lifts" and it's really simple, does all the work for you (all you do is input your 1RMs), and the paid version has a plate calculator which helps too. Icon is a little goofy but w/e.

It's a little unstable right now (spoke with the creator it'll be upgraded real soon) but still well worth using.

There's a free version too which is just as functional, just doesn't have a section for assistance work or the plate calculator.

I've used this for awhile. It also works excellent for starting strength

Oh right, it has a Starting Strength component too, but I haven't used it. Have you had the same problems with stability?

I haven't had any problems with it. I don't have the pro version though. What kind of problems are you experiencing?

    (iPhone 4)

It's a little glitchy when I input the 1RMs, and had a problem changing the current cycle. I did have both the free and pro versions installed and running at the same time at one point (though only the pro version by the time this had happened), so maybe that messed it up from the get-go.

Also, locked up on me when I was trying to edit the name of an exercise and when I tried accessing my current workout.

To solve the problem I just uninstalled the pro verion and re-installed it. It seems to be working ok now, but we'll see if it locks up on me again.

All said though, it's still a great app, just needs a little polish. Well worth it.
