Two slices of apple wood smoked bacon and two whole eggs every morning. The fat gives me a nice even energy flow and the protein from the eggs is perfect.0

You mean carbs like breads and cereals?
What about some beans and some fruit?0 -
Scrambled Eggs0

Eggs are my go-to arb free breakfast.0

I like carbs for breakfast but I would say steak and eggs you probably could throw some bacon or sausage in there too.0

greek yogurt, cottage cheese0

I eat cubes of avocado with pieces of bacon. The saltiness of the bacon goes very well with the richness of the avocado. Also, don't be afraid of regular eggs. You need fat in your diet, especially if you're doing low carb!0

Big on the eggs only, little slice of cheese omlette style Theres a great article and feedback on benpakulski.com on the no carb breakfast.0

Eating the yolks too would make your breakfast a lot tastier!0

I eat 2 eggs (the whole egg), 3 pieces of all natural, uncured bacon, and a shake for breakfast every morning. My shake is a cup of coffee (well, it's more like 12 ounces, the large cup setting on my Keurig) that I brew the night before and put in the fridge so it's cold, a scoop of Jay Robb vanilla egg white protein, and a splash of either almond or coconut milk coffee creamer. So. Damn. Good.0

You did not indicate if you are doing a no carb or low carb diet so I'm not sure why you're looking to avoid carbs for breakfast. Anyway, there are good carbs you can eat for breakfast. Almost every breakfast, I eat some form of berries....raspberries, blueberries or blackberries. They are great for you, have fiber (to help fill you up), and are low on the glycemic index chart so they don't cause an insulin spike (meaning they don't cause those pesky insulin hormones to run free in your body and store food as fat).0

Love to have an ounce or two of white cheddar with a handful of grapes.0

My fav breakfast is 1/2 an avocado - 2 eggs - 2 bacon (or meat of some sort) and some spinach and coffee. yum0

it's best to eat your carbs earlier in the day instead of later in the day... but, whatever, your choice.
BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACON. :laugh:0 -
low-fat plain yogurt or cottage cheese. even mozzarella and fresh tomatoes are delish.
i'm also a fan of drinking a glass of almased in the morning. it has some carbs but full of vitamins and nutrients.0 -
Egg yolks are yum!
I seriously struggle with breakfast myself. I would rather have a creamy coffee and have a brunch meal. Im one of those people who take a couple of hours to wake up and have my wits about me, much less feed myself.
My brunches this week have been devilled eggs (sandwich filler, homemade) inside a few slices of ham...and if I want something hot I have a grilled gammon (ham) steak with a friend whole egg. Filling and yummy.0 -
Eggs have carbs...0

Not just egg whites - whole eggs!
Mine is low carb unintentionally - hard boiled egg and two piece of Laughing Cow cheese (mine is light though so if carbs are your only focus, get regular)
I also just used this recipe: http://www.skinnytaste.com/2009/03/broccoli-and-cheese-mini-egg-omelets-2.html - only eggs, broccoli and cheese! Perfect!0 -
I'm on a very low carb diet, so as an example of my breakfast is thus:
Two strips of bacon
2 whole eggs whipped with a half ounce whipping cream
two cups raw spinach (cooked down in the bacon grease)
1 small bell pepper (also cooked in the bacon grease)
1 ounce cream cheese
1 ounce muenster cheese
I don't eat enough vegetables, so I try to do so in the morning with my omelet.0 -
If you're afraid of the full commitment to pork bacon, turkey bacon is almost as yummy!0

I made a batch of these frittatas on Sunday and grab them for breakfast on my way to work. I didn't have prosciutto, so I used an uncured ham. I also used sauteed broccoli, cauliflower, carrots and mushrooms. They are so good!!

lol i like how you said besides eggs and just about everyone said you should eat eggs... i would agree with the person that suggested yogurt(greek plain, add some vanilla if you want it), Tempeh (great source of protien and i think its pretty low carb, cold lentil lime salad with carrots would be good too!0 -

Well, in all fairness the OP only said egg WHITES. But really, anything with no or low carbs you can eat for breakfast. Sometimes I'll just have a burger. *shrug*0 -
Veal and lamb meatballs
1kg veal mince
500g lamb mince
pinch dried parsley
ground black pepper to taste
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl using your hands. Form into 24 balls and place, evenly spaced on a baking sheet or sheets. Bake in a hot 220C oven for 15-20 mins (test for doneness by breaking in two to see if middle is cooked. if ready, sample as a taste test!). These keep well in a container in the fridge

Cannot, just cannot go without porridge for breakfast.
Pure oats, no salt nothing else. No milk, [don't eat dairy anyway, man, 63 prostate blah blah] made with Humapro sour apple protein instead, 1 min. in the microwave, big spoonful of cinnamon, handful of blueberries on top. A powerhouse meal.0 -
Fried whole egg on a steak with some bacon which is fairly high on naturally occuring and healthy fats and has no carbs!
And egg yolk on steak is actually pretty delicious to me, my dad did it like that for me growing up.0
