Covering Tattoos for Work

The dress code at my job requires all employees to cover any tattoos while working.

I have tattoos on my upper arms, ankles and a small one on my calf.

I need to buy some new work clothes since losing weight, and I'm having a heck of a time finding outfits, especially shirts, that are appropriate for summer and also hide my tattoos. I can wear long (maxi) skirts or pants to hide the leg tattoos, but my arm band peeks out from short sleeves. I have trouble finding 3/4" sleeve shirts/blouses that I like. I have no trouble with my winter wardrobe, obviously, since I can buy long sleeves and sweaters.

I don't want to use makeup to hide my tattoos.

Does anyone have any tips on how to cover your tattoos without makeup when you don't want them showing?

    For my ankle I use dark colored tights/hose. I have one on my wrist that I use a large watch or bracelets! :)

    if your upper arm tattos is a band around your arm then just buy an ACE bandage wrap and wrap it around your arm.

    Why not just wear a little cardigan over the maxi dress while in the office? Can always be removed when you go back outside.

    Haha I always thought that was a funny rule. People start walking around is ace bandages and band aids on to cover piercings and tattoos. They all look like they've been abused at work.

    I live in cardigans or jean jackets. you can buy really light weight sweaters or long sleeve sheer dress shirts.

    Yes, I've seen people with bandages on their tattoos. I want to avoid that when possible.

    I like some of the ideas everyone's posted.
